No appointment, no sign on the door
The workshop is open three days a week and the whole range is in the drawers. Bring a bag to be repaired, bring what you carry, or bring nothing and watch a seam go in.

One of us reads this between seams, usually the same day. For a repair, tell us what broke and roughly when you bought it.
Getting here
The SP26 from Pontedera, then up into the town. Park in the free lot by the cemetery and walk two minutes; the street itself is too narrow for a car. The bus from Pontedera station stops at Piazza del Popolo six times a day.
Repairs
Teo re-stitches a seam for €24, replaces a strap anchor for €38 and re-dyes a worn edge for €16, whoever made the bag. Most things done while you wait; anything needing a new panel takes a week.
Commissions
Strap length, a second inside pocket, blind-stamped initials, brass swapped for blackened steel. We will not order a one-off hide, so the colour stays cordovan or tan. Half up front, half when it is boxed.
Send it in
Post the piece to the address below with a note inside saying what is wrong and where to send it back. We quote by email before touching it, and nothing is charged until you agree. Return postage within Italy is on us.

Honestly, not very. The bench room is up fourteen stone steps with a handrail on one side and no lift. Tell us in advance and we will bring the drawers and a table down to the ground-floor store room, which is level with the street.
One Saturday a month, four people, five hours, €140 including the hide. You leave with a card case you stitched yourself and sore thumbs. Ask on the form and we will put you on the list for the next date.
No. Everything leaves from this room, which is the only reason we can quote the stock numbers on the shop page and mean them. If you see our stamp on a piece somewhere else, it was bought here first.
